Forgiveness

Running a 5K is hard, getting up when the alarm goes off  is hard, being a mom is hard, but forgiveness; that is suppose to be easy. Over the past year forgiveness has laid heavy on my heart. I want to forgive so badly but I am {for a lack of better words} stubborn.

What I have learned is that forgiveness is not organic for me. It is something I have to choose every day when I wake up and close my eyes at night.

Day after day I will choose to "be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving" - Ephesians 4:32 until myself and forgiveness become organic {something that fit together harmoniously}.

I created this poster as a reminder of my challenge and wanted to share it with you all.

Cards in a pinch

I have been trying really hard this year to send more notes in the mail. I just love getting fun mail. It makes me feel special, that someone took the time out of their day (and spent 49 cents) to make me smile.

Print your cards on 80 lb white cardstock then cut to size (these note cards are 5.5 x 8 before folding).  Then fold your card in half. These fit perfectly in an A2 envelope. {enjoy}

Love is Patient, Love is Kind - Free Printable

Last week I was having one of those mama moments.  On the verge of tears mama moments (OK, confession I went over the verge and was actually in tears). My patients were gone, I felt helpless. The only thing I could do was walk away from my crying, screaming, nearly 4 year old and excuse myself to my room, alone!  Yep, I resigned and let my husband take over - I know, way to put your big girl panties Pam.  The next morning I open my e-mail to find my daily devotion, and low and behold it was centered on 1 Corinthians 13:4, Love is patient, love is kind....  Hello wakeup call! I am most certainly not perfect, and some days I am not patient or kind, but I need to try a little harder.  So, if you ever run into me and I am repeating "love is patient, love is kind" over and over again, that most likely means I am having a mama moment, bare with me as I try to love my children unconditionally.
